Delegation of Resalat Al-Salam Foundation Meets the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan in Cairo
A delegation from Resalat Al-Salam Foundation met today with H.E. Mr. Parviz Mirzozoda, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Egypt, at the Embassy of Tajikistan in Cairo. The meeting was attended by Mr. Abdulghaffor Kamolzoda, Deputy Ambassador and Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan, and Mr. Firdavsi Nusratullo, Assistant to the Ambassador.
The Foundation's delegation comprised Dr. Moataz Salah El-Din, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Resalat Al-Salam Foundation – Cairo Office; Mr. Ismail Eid, Member of the Board of Trustees; and Mr. Mohamed Moataz, Foreign Relations Coordinator of the Foundation's Cairo Office.
At the outset of the meeting, Dr. Moataz Salah El-Din conveyed to H.E. the Ambassador and the attendees the greetings of the Arab thinker Mr. Ali Muhammad Al-Shurafa Al-Hammadi, Founder of Resalat Al-Salam Foundation. He then presented a comprehensive overview of the Foundation and its founder, noting that Mr. Al-Shurafa graduated from the Egyptian Military Academy in 1966 and served for 22 years as Director of the Presidential Court during the era of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
Dr. Salah El-Din explained that Mr. Al-Shurafa founded Resalat Al-Salam Foundation in 2019 with the mission of promoting Qur'anic values, including peace, human fraternity, justice, mercy, and humanitarian cooperation. He also highlighted that Mr. Al-Shurafa has authored approximately 35 books, several of which have been translated and published in ten languages. Dr. Salah El-Din introduced a selection of these publications, which were presented to H.E. the Ambassador as gifts.
He further noted that the Foundation is now active in 48 countries across four continents and is officially accredited as a UNESCO Partner NGO. The Foundation has conducted activities and official visits in numerous European countries, as well as Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei Darussalam. It maintains offices in several capitals around the world, including Vienna, Paris, Madrid, Nouakchott, Jakarta, in addition to its headquarters in Cairo.
Dr. Salah El-Din also highlighted the international impact of Mr. Al-Shurafa's book "The Qur'an Confirms the Authenticity of the Christian Faith," which has been published in ten languages and presented through events organized in churches and cultural institutions worldwide. He affirmed the Foundation's readiness to promote the Embassy of Tajikistan's activities through its international media platforms and websites. He also expressed the Foundation's appreciation for Tajikistan as a model of moderate Islam.
For his part, Mr. Ismail Eid conveyed the greetings of Mr. Ali Muhammad Al-Shurafa Al-Hammadi to H.E. President Emomali Rahmon and to H.E. the Ambassador. He expressed the Foundation's hope that this meeting would mark the beginning of fruitful cooperation between the Foundation and the Embassy in the fields of peace, dialogue, development, culture, and public awareness.
Mr. Mohamed Moataz expressed his appreciation to H.E. the Ambassador and the Embassy staff for their constructive communication and cooperation throughout the past period.
In turn, H.E. Ambassador Parviz Mirzozoda welcomed the delegation of Resalat Al-Salam Foundation and affirmed the Embassy's interest in developing cultural and intellectual cooperation with the Foundation, including organizing joint cultural events aimed at promoting peace, cultural awareness, and human fraternity.
The Ambassador emphasized the importance of strengthening relations between Egypt and Tajikistan and opening new channels of cooperation between the two peoples. He referred to the deep historical, cultural, and civilizational ties linking both countries, noting that many Tajik scholars and thinkers have made significant historical contributions in Egypt. He also spoke of the profound spiritual affinity between the peoples of Egypt and Tajikistan.
H.E. the Ambassador further announced that Resalat Al-Salam Foundation would be invited to participate in the celebrations marking the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, to be held in Cairo within the coming two months.
He stressed the importance of joint cultural and intellectual initiatives and the dissemination of educational and awareness-raising content. The Ambassador also conveyed his greetings and appreciation to Mr. Ali Muhammad Al-Shurafa Al-Hammadi, Founder of Resalat Al-Salam Foundation.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Moataz Salah El-Din presented H.E. the Ambassador with a collection of Mr. Al-Shurafa's publications in both Arabic and English, including:

In return, H.E. the Ambassador presented the Foundation's delegation with a commemorative gift consisting of a collection of decorative stones symbolizing the geography of the Republic of Tajikistan.
