Director of the Center: We Will Extend an Official Invitation to Resalat Al-Salam Foundation to Participate in Our Upcoming Conference

On the sidelines of the presentation ceremony of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, held on Saturday evening at the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo, Dr. Moataz Salaheddine, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Resalat Al-Salam Foundation, held an extensive meeting with Mr. Firdavs Abdukhalikov, Director of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, in the presence of Mr. Mohamed Moataz, External Relations Coordinator of the Foundation’s Cairo Office.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Salaheddine presented Mr. Abdukhalikov with several English-language copies of the book “The Message of Islam: Mercy, Justice, Freedom and Peace” by Arab thinker Mr. Ali Mohamed Al-Shorafa Al-Hammadi, founder of Resalat Al-Salam Foundation. He explained that the author's works call for a return to the Quranic values of mercy, peace, human fraternity, and justice—principles that form the foundation of the Charter of Resalat Al-Salam Foundation since its establishment in 2019.

Mr. Abdukhalikov warmly welcomed the gift and expressed appreciation for the intellectual themes addressed in the book. He noted that the donated copies would be placed in the library of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan as part of its cultural and intellectual collection.

During the meeting, Dr. Salaheddine conveyed the Foundation’s congratulations to the Center of Islamic Civilization on its entry into the Guinness World Records as the largest museum of Islamic civilization in the world. He also congratulated the organizers on the success of the event hosted by the Grand Egyptian Museum on this occasion.

Dr. Salaheddine further presented an overview of the vision and mission of Resalat Al-Salam Foundation and introduced its founder, Arab thinker Mr. Ali Mohamed Al-Shorafa Al-Hammadi. He explained that the Foundation has been officially accredited as a UNESCO Partner NGO since May 2026 and currently operates in more than 46 countries across four continents, with offices and representatives in Egypt, France, Spain, Austria, Indonesia, and other countries.

He highlighted the Foundation’s international activities and partnerships with universities, institutions, and organizations around the world, referring to recent engagements in Indonesia, Malaysia, France, Austria, Slovakia, and Slovenia. He emphasized that the Foundation’s mission is centered on promoting peace, tolerance, human fraternity, and a return to the universal values embodied in the Quran.

Dr. Salaheddine also expressed the Foundation’s interest in strengthening cooperation with Uzbekistan in the fields of culture, intellectual exchange, and media, in ways that contribute to promoting mutual understanding and a culture of peace among peoples.

For his part, Mr. Firdavs Abdukhalikov praised the Foundation’s vision and international efforts and confirmed that the Center of Islamic Civilization would extend an official invitation to Resalat Al-Salam Foundation to participate in its upcoming conference. He also expressed his desire to explore future avenues of cooperation between the two institutions.

Earlier that evening, Dr. Moataz Salaheddine, accompanied by Mr. Mohamed Moataz, participated in the official presentation ceremony of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, following an invitation from the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Cairo.

The event was held at the Grand Egyptian Museum and was attended by H.E. Bakhtiyor Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Mr. Firdavs Abdukhalikov, Director of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan. Guest of Honor Dr. Sherif Fathy, Egypt’s Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, also delivered remarks during the ceremony.
